Thoughts on tarkov from an average gamer

I see a ton of posts about people complaining about “make meta more rare” and all kinds of stuff like that.
Tarkov is a battle simulator. Running the best gear should be your goal.

But….

Being a battle simulator. I think Tarkov should reward you for running gear and weapons that elite operators around the world have proven are top tier. Not some weapon you min maxed in your hideout.
There’s a reason most of those guys don’t run uncomfortable skeletonized pistol grips and 60 round drums that are notorious for misfeed/double feeds. I mean look at the Raid series they put out. If that’s what they want the game to look like they need to reward players for running gear like that.

What are your thoughts on the current meta and how can BSG remedy this?

One last thing. All my optics irl have a setting for when I run NODs. I should be able to run an optic with nvgs and not be blinded by the reticle.
