According to BSG, there is a good chance that after the game has launched and will no longer include regular wipes, players will have the option to play a seasonal character instead.
This concept, borrowed from action RPGs, means that every X weeks you, with everyone else, are able to start fresh with a new character, separate from your main character, and re-live that early progression, likely on separate servers with their own economy and potentially different events, tasks and rewards. The seasons model will probably include the ability to move at least some of the gear and other progression to your main character after the season is over so it contributes to your overall progression.
A typical season (or "ladder") length in ARPGs can be anywhere between a few weeks to several months. What do you think would be a suitable length for a Tarkov season, and why?
