Noob here. Played a couple of weeks 2 years ago and about a week 1 year ago. Lurking this subreddit ever since in hope that the big game-changing patch comes out. This is just a hot-take on what is EFT holding back:
- Flea Market
Why does this exist? This is a looter-shooter / survival game, right? Why can people magically create a full-stacked Chad and nearly every component in the game instantly once they have enough income?
- Wipes
I understand that a Alpha/Beta needs to have a (!) wipe to balance things out. But EFT had way too many wipes, even after years of being on the market. What are we playing/grinding for, if everything will be removed anyway?
- Not enough randomness / Raid mechanic
The best experience was when i had no idea what to do or where to go. After a couple of matches everybody just uses google to find literally everything. Full maps, every Exfil point, guides on how to achieve everything in the fastest way possible. Every raid plays out the same way.
