I have my own opinion on streamer items but I want to know what the average new Tarkov player thinks of streamer items. especially from someone who's new to the game.
The reason i'm bringing this up is because of the lucas botkin "hk416 T-REX" that was recently shown off in a tarkov leak. We've got everything from beard-oil to plague doctor masks (the latter being a much more unique item then the former). Lucas hasn't been in the scene very long and is a manufacturer first and streamer second, and I'm not gatekeeping him by no means, its just questionable the speed of which he now finds something of his in the game that is personal and not a product. Personally i've always thought the increase of items has been too much, but stuff like the 1g phone, can of coffee beans, or gun cleaner has fit in pretty nicely.
goofy kits are becoming more common and goofy items are becoming more common. they may have bad stats but that isn't stopping people from using them. As someone who stopped playing siege when stuff like the steampunk cosmetics got added i really hope the streamer items tone down, or at least they lower the chances of people wearing them.
what are your thoughts?
