Today I did some testing because I noticed that my hipfire and ads sensitivity were not the same. Every gun in apex has iron sights but not all iron sights are the same sensitivity and zoom. This isn't inherently a problem but the lack of sensitivity customization makes it one. I tested the 360 of all weapons using Kovaaks Sensitivity converter to perform a perfect 360 everytime.
800 DPI, 1.5 in-game sensitivity,110fov, 144hz and 144fps, 1920 x 1080 resolution, 16:9 ascept ratio. Here's what I found.
Pistols, smgs, and shotguns(Wingman, P2020, R-99, alternator, prowler, volt, mastiff, peacekeeper, eva-8, and mozambique) do almost perfect 360 at a multiplier of 1.33. The perfect 360 value is between 1.33 and 1.34 but apex doesn't let the sensitivity value go to the thousands place so 1.33 is as close as it gets.
Machine Pistols(Re-45)
I thought the Re-45 would be the same as the smgs and pistols being a cross between both. But it's very different. Your fov does not change at all when adsing with the re-45 and does an almost perfect 360 with a multiplier of 1.01. making it about 30% faster than the smgs, pistols, and shotguns.
Lmgs, rifles, and snipers(r-301, g7, hemlock, flatline, spitfire, triple take, sentinel, longbow, charge rifle, havoc, L-star, and devotion) do an almost perfect 360 at a multiplier of 1.52 making it about 15% slower
If any weapon has a 1x scope( Digital threat, 1x hcog, 1x Holo, and 1x to 2x variable Holo in 1x mode) the weapon will do almost perfect 360 with a multiplier of 1.33. 2x scopes with do almost perfect 360 with a multiplier of 2.44.
The reason I tested all of these was to bring attention to this issue. I thought it had been fixed over a year ago when a the option to change individual scope sensitivities was added. I watched several videos and looked through many reddit posts trying to get a straight answer on what multiplier would give me a 1 to 1 (hipfire to ads) sensitivity but it never felt right until now. Even now it's not perfect without a sight on your weapon and it's annoying to know all ads sensitivities aren't the same and there is nothing I can do about it other than hopefully find a 1x scope to fix it.
Hope someone finds this helpful
