In february of 2018, CHAPPiE director Neill Blomkamp and Respawn CEO Vince Zampella both said they were "down" for a CHAPPiE tie-in added to Apex Legends in the future. Vince Zampella also mentioned back in 2016 that CHAPPiE would make a cameo in his next game.
So, it has been almost 2 years now and no signs of CHAPPiE has been sighted yet. We know that Apex Legends will continue to receive updates for many more years to come, so I really hope that CHAPPiE is planned to be added down the line as well.
I don't want it to be just a purchasable Legendary Pathfinder skin. I want it to be a brand new character with brand new voice lines from Sharlto Copley himself.
Would anyone else be interested in a CHAPPiE character inside of Apex Legends and do you think it'll ever happen?
For the record, I really liked the movie and consider it a masterpiece personally. That's why I don't want CHAPPiE to completely disappear but rather get imortalized inside of Apex Legends.
