Apparently a few days ago someone changed the password of an older inactive wot account I had, and a couple minutes later transferred it to a new email it seems. I am a bit puzzled as how this took place because when I went into the account settings of my active account I was prompted that I would need to add a phone number and wait 14 days before making such changes, and my old account most certainly did not have one. I also have some lesta mail in my spam from the same occasion.
Can someone make a bit of sense of this whole situation? Has someone gotten into my email account? I have looked around a bit in google activity settings and have come across nothing suspicious. Is it possible there are some bad actors on lesta/wg side, or some third party gained access to them?
Frankly, it was an old account with basically nothing on it so I don't care much for it, on the other hand I am quite concerned for my email security and current account. Helpful comments appreciated.
