Ive been playing the test server recently and i dislike some things a lot, but a few changes are very nice.

To be specific i am very much enjoying the damage buff to standard rounds. My Super Pershing feels like a threat now. All the other tanks with high alpha deal even more damage. Like the Skorpion (or skorp G) has 600 base alpha now. Though i found HE is all but worthless currently, having zero pen affected more than i expected so the 128 on the skorp will only splash for 10 or 20 so far (ill have to play more battles to confirm that). The 76mm on Fury (E8 sherman) consistently peppers with 10-20 damage per shot

The nerf to HE dependent tanks is felt hard. As we know the kv2 is unaffected but my OHO is just a slow meat shield now unless i mount the T8 10cm gun instead of derp. HE on the lynx is pointless to load a large amount of. Also HESH on my death star has no point to exist if it has 0 pen (like wtf?) But at least it has 1440 aplha on AP (improved from 1100 i think).

The balance to standard rounds and gold/premiun rounds i like. HE never should have been touched, im pretty sure no one asked for that and/or cared enough to cause a change. The tech tree does look cleaner but im still salty that low tier has little variety. i mean that it is only light tanks, unless a veteran player kept the tanks in their garage (tds, spgs, etc.)

Some of the changes are welcome like the buff to standard rounds, but others like 0 penn on HE makes it useless unless you need to reser cap. A 128mm cannon firing HE shouldnt have the same damage outcome as a 76mm firing HE.

Arty feels relatively unchanged, the ap rounds are interesting (m40/43 was the vehicle i used). i got lucky once and penned the side of a Maus, 258 pen w/ 500 alpha, but it i didnt find myself using it much because i would get stuck with a bad map and/or bottom tier of a tier 10 match. Still mostly used (stun) HE for groups and switching to (no stun) HE if i wanted a little extra "oomph" in my shot. I tended to lean towards sticking with the stun rounds.

I didnt feel any different in low tier. but tier 2 & 3bmatch making was pretty poor on the test server. Took forever to load in and i simply couldnt find a match when i wanted to use a tier 2 took 4-5 minutes with tier 3 and tier 4 was more consistent with under 2 minutes. I got faster as i picked higher tier tanks since everyone is playing higher. But to the point, i downloaded the test server late so i never really got to fully experience the changes' affect's on low tier games. But i will say the hp gains were noticeable, found making a mistake was much more forgiving than before and i wasnt getting clipped out by a pz1c.
