So while doing a computer checkup, clearing dead files, defragmenting my drive, etc. found some odd things with WoT.
First off, clear your updates folder, WoT still doesn't clear it after it's installed. They're compressed files for download, once they're unpacked and installed they just sit there taking up space, if you're wary of doing this you can simply move the files out temporarily, watch as the installer doesn't complain, then see the game run normally, then delete them. Or if it somehow went wrong, return the files. And your replays, since chances are very high most of them can't even function anymore.
90_minsk.pkg is near 1GB, that's twice the size of the grand battle maps. That's impressive for a map that isn't in the game anymore. Ignoring the fact it's not active, how does a bad map manage 1GB?
For the strategy mode, 1v1 and 1v7 each have their own dedicated full size map file.
The maps are numbered, based off when they were introduced (Fairly sure) and the missing numbers are a painful reminder of the better maps we lost like Northwest and Port. The numbers go up to 127 (Including tutorial maps but not grand battle maps, those seem to start at 200), but there's only 42 unique map files left in the game. Obviously a few of those are event maps, such as football himmelsdorf, remember good modes that should've been on a rotation to keep the gameplay fresh and fun like so many other games do?
Then there's the 2 sandbox files (part1 and part2), I will never play the sandbox so I'm curious if I could get away with deleting these. I'd test using the above method, but defragging atm.
