I built my a couple years ago, specs:
Motherboard: B450 Carbon AC
CPU: 2700x AMD
GPU: 5700xt Red Devil
Ram: Gskill F4-3200
This was my first build.
Perforamce in 99% games was great. running 1440p 60+ fps on high/ultra.
Tarkov was a different beast. getting 30-50 fps on all maps other than factory which ran great since its a small map.
My solution: The XMP/ A-XMP was not activated in my BIOS settings which meant that my ram was only running at about 1400MHz instead of the 3200MHz as advertized.
Tarkov is very Ram/CPU hungry.
Check your XMP/ Inter equivalent settings in the Bios. Make sure the profile is set to correct timing.
There should be a couple profiles already there, IN MY case all i had to do was select one.
Now I'm getting 60 fps all the time, every map.
Hope my find helps someone out there playing choppy Tarkov.
TLDR: Check XMP profile in BIOS for a substantial frame boost.
