Idea – Spotlight

I think it would be cool to have a new spotlight lighting object in the game. The object can be placed like a normal light source, but unlike other light sources the light is focused on a single location and can be interacted to allow the player to manually move the light around.

The item can be crafted with Fine wood/ Pine wood and ice crystal. (For the lights lens). Like other light sources the player still needs to put fuel into the object to keep it lit. Perhaps the light could also be used to scare off some creatures when the light is pointed at them at night. If this feature is added it could be used as another method to defend your house.

At the moment the game doesn’t have any way to light up areas in the distance, so I think a spotlight would be a useful/ unique item to have. I thought of this idea because I have a tar pit I keep outside my house, but at night it’s hard to tell if the tar enemy’s are in the pit or not, so having this light could help me see any creature in the pit.
