I decided to see what the best method for getting around tarkov especially when you are overweight.
Setup:
I loaded offline with 45 lbs of stuff in my backpack (strength 14 so i'm still able to get stamina regen) in lighthouse. Then picked a route (
Methods:
- Run until stamina empty, then walk till stamina full, then run
- Run until stamina empty, lay down till stamina full, then stand and run
- Run until stamina empty, walk until stamina half full, then run
- Run until stamina empty, stop until stamina full, then run
- Run and jump until stamina empty, walk until stamina full, then run and jump
- Run until stamina empty, then walk until stamina allows you to run again, then run
I did these test 3 times each to get an average time for the results
Results:
Run, walk, run – 2 mins 12 sec
- SECOND BEST METHOD
- Run, Lay, Stand/Run – 2 min 51 sec
- Run, walk half stamina, run – 2 min 10 sec
- BEST METHOD
- Run, Stop, Run – 3 min 5 sec
- Run, Jump, Run – 2 min 58 sec
- Run, immediate run – 2 min 19 sec
