Performance tip

So I have a pretty good rig:
Ryzen 7 3700x
16gb 3200mhz RAM
RTX2070 Super 8gb
Decent SSD

But on maps like shoreline and reserve my fps was pretty bad especially when using scopes.
I tried literally everything I’ve seed so far on the reddid (lasso, nvidia settings, in game settings) and yes whilst it did help it still didnt feel smooth as in It didnt feel like I was actually getting the frames nvidia was telling me.

Well yesterday I noticed that my RAM that was supposed to be running at 3200mhz was running only at 2400mhz so I went to the bios and changed it to 3200mhz and my god it feels like a different game now. Even when being on a low end of framerate on reserve the game feels alot smoother. I still have the occasional lagspike but overall the game feels twice as smooth as before. Now I can’t explain why this made such a massive difference but it did for me so might aswell check it because one of my friends did apparently have the same problem. For some reason some RAMs dont run the speed advertised stock and you have to manually turn it up.

Hope it helps at least someone, if it does let me know and if someone has more knowledge about why it makes such a big difference I would love to know. Happy hunting!
