I like several others have had issues with super slow loading times this wipe (from 1 min to 3 – 4 mins) with no obvious cause or reason.
After trying many many things that never helped, I have finally found an actual fix. I now can load into a fast as fast as 30s after starting to load loot.
I'm running an older intel system (5930K & X99) so maybe it wont work for everyone but hopefully it helps some of you.
I did the following:
Go to Device Manager, look for "High Precision Event Timer" listed under the System Devices category. Right click this and choose disable. Reboot the PC.
Open up command prompt as admin and enter the following "bcdedit /enum" and press enter.
Look for something like "useplatformclock Yes". If you see this then enter "bcdedit /deletevalue useplatformclock" and reboot Windows.
*Run "bcdedit /enum" again and you hopefully shouldn't have a userplatformclock entry.
Assuming you don't have the entry anymore, test Tarkov.
Hope this helps!
PS: I have just started streaming EFT on Twitch.tv/Puppetmaster86 – if this actually helped you I'd very much appreciate coming to check me out sometime or throwing a follow my way 🙂
