I started out doing the tutorial mission and then went on to the first space station it takes you to. After a little exploring and a little talking, I decided to get my very own ship license. I got the basics down with flying and combat and felt confident enough to grab an easy, well in hindsight it seemed easy, mission. Deliver some tech to this random dude in this random facility on this random planet, it seemed easy enough.
I board my ship and jump to the planet I needed to go to. I get to the planet and for the life of me cannot figure out how to actually land on the planet. After many failed attempts and maybe an hour later I was able to do it, although it wasn't very efficient at all. I see my destination. A small laboratory in the middle of a barren planet in the dead of night. I slowly fly to it, engage my landing gear, and go with the auto land. I was so excited that I was actually able to get to my destination that I completely forgot to ask for permission to land. The second I land all I hear are sirens. I get put of my ship, run to the lab, and immediately get gunned down by security.
I wake up in some random prison or medical bay, my ship is impounded, and I'm a handful of star systems away from where I started. I end up regaining my ship and have absolutely no idea where to go from there. I ended up searching for a fairly populated star system nearby and found a feudal, independent star system with 200,000 people in it. Now I'm on some random military station in the middle of nowhere, plotting my next move.
I have absolutely no fucking clue what's going on but boy I'm having a blast.
TLDR: I've never had so much fun not knowing what the fuck I'm doing.
