Was watching the old trailer for the game and I realized that there is no reason ever to pair up with another PMC that you did not start the raid with. The trailer shows Bear's and USEC's blasting each other to bits with a scav (Grammarly tried to change scav to scat…) crew showing up 'on the button' to loot, PMC's rally and work together to get out alive. We have the wiggle for scav's, the voice commands for hatchlings and chad's to work together, but there is nothing that creates that tension to work with what was 5 min before an opFOR. (partial spoiler ahead) This game mechanic is also shown in the amazing series 'The Raid' episode 4 and I can't help but want a reason to act on something like this. Born and raised in Kansas (in KC now), I play a Bear and speak 0 Russian outside of hello and hey let's get him! So I can already think of many obstacles while trying to make this happen in a game played internationally, especially with all that this game has going on under the hood. With that said I still get the goosebumps when I see that familiar nod btw the two ppl that were previously shooting each other to high five and fuck shit up. So if you're still reading after my long-winded explanation then I just would like to ask the community what they thought about the idea and if anyone has any input on how to figure out how to make this happen to feel free to at least start talking about it, get some starting point for the devs to work with. Personally I wouldn't mind a small % check before every raid to see if there's a scav reaction force supporting scavs in that area, and if a big firefight goes down then the reaction force shows up later in the raid to see what went down, what can be salvaged, etc, and I mean a sizeable force, something that makes you as a PMC re-evaluate your chances for surviving the raid. Anyway, I just wanted to pass this by the community and see what ppl thought. This is in no way, ZERO WAY, meant to ask or demand something from the devs, just a thought on the game and what ppl might like to see or not like to see.
