Have you ever wanted to have a co-owner of your fleet carrier, or just allow a friend to have some extra permissions at your carrier (like accessing the cargo hold)?
This is something I've been wanting for fleet carriers for a while now, and I'm sure I'm not alone. I have friends who use my carrier for a lot of things, and I wish they could just do some of those things without having to wait on me to do it for them, or just allow them to use it at a limited capacity at their will.
I know someone will remind me of FDev's original idea for carriers (that they would be owned and managed by a squadron). This isn't quite what I'm saying, but it is somewhat similar in some ways.
It could work kind of like how squadron permissions work. You could add a person to the carrier's crew, and set different ranks with different permissions, in a similar way that squadron ranks work. That or just player specific permissions. Permissions like cargo hold access, jump scheduling, depositing money into the balance, etc. could be given. Some of the critical things like decommissioning wouldn't be available to give away though, for obvious reasons.
This probably won't happen, at least anytime soon, but it would be great if something like this did. Thoughts?
