Are infested mines supposed to be that hard?

I recently finished the Plains fairly easily (took me 8 in-game days of mostly building a factory) Now with Mistlands it is a bit tricky… I use a 4-star black metal axe and a 3-star shield + full plains armor set and a full-level Draugr fang as a bow. In terms of food, I got 1 stamina and 2 health, giving me 268 health and 210 stamina in total. I feel confident in the main mistlands, but as soon as I go into infested mines, they are filled with level 3-4 seekers that basically one-shot me even with a shield. I can't stay in the safe zone as they are able to enter there due to their size. I don't know how to progress, cuz I it is the only mine I found in the 3 Mistlands biomes I explored. Hell, I even installed the Epic Loot mod and got myself full Legendary equipment and they still one-shot me. The game was fun before, but now it feels tedious, I just feel like giving up and spawning in the cores via console…

EDIT: It turns out that along with the farming mods I accidentaly put the Creature Level and Loot Control along with them, it was that mod which was causing this, probably should have checked my modlist…
