how important are suppressors rn? should I be running something that has > -20 loudness whenever I use an actual kit. So for example, if I have a route I am running because I'm trying to do a survival quest or have to pick up a quest item and get out (wishing for minimal pmc interaction), is it worth spending an extra 21k on a suppressor? I could see how it might helpful if your just popping off one shot to kill a scav, because then less people will hear it, but its already hard to distinguish where single shots came from (unless u were ready or have other context) so it really worth it? On the other side of things, if I do come into contact with another player it might help there as well, for the same reason, less people will potentially hear it. However, chances are pretty high that the other person doesn't have a suppressor though, so it doesn't even matter if that's the case. Though, I could see it helping in the case of picking off players from a distance, which would give you the luxury of repositioning with them having less info than if you had a louder gun. But does the suppressor actually make it that much harder to tell?
I'd love to hear what u guys think, if you agree or disagree with my sentiments. Thanks!
lol. after re-reading my post, I suppose im anti-suppressor rn and am looking for validation for my feelings about it, all so that I can better build my kits for future raids. again thanks!
