Asteroid Mining vs Planetary Mining; Which is better for you?

So I for the longest time could not mine for the life of me. I tried asteroid mining multiple different ways, including a few I found on here. Nothing worked, it was pure tedium and boredom even with tunes. Move close to this big, spinning, grey rock, melt a bit of it with lasers, wait while limpets collect what came out and do it all over again. I was constantly pissed off because I never had enough raw materials, nor could I get more due to my inability to asteroid mine without my brain melting out my ears. Then a few weeks back I decided to try planetary mining. Hfs, what a difference. Got so much I went on a wee engineering spree. Second time I tried it I totally forgot to put on my tunes. It was so much fun racing around, and using the jump-jets to avoid big ass rocks so I didn't have to slow down. Constantly chasing the radar, waiting for the mats to show up. Doing my damndest not to spin out. So for those of you like me who hate asteroid mining, I'd recommend trying planetary mining, it might be your thing to.
