Back after 2 years off dota 2 for a few months

Windranger DOTA 2 Hero Guides

So i noticed they fixed a few things in dota and added more. But one thing I noticed, well I'm 2 ranks lower than the last time i played but there are obiviously less smurfs and account boosters. Notably with the particpation "gank" money. It's harder to smurf now say Alch now that almost every carry can get 900 gpm alch vs. 2-3 years ago, when my complaint fell on deaf ears. Sure there's still the occiassional slark and PA pickers but gone are the 0 cooldown agh first invokers ruining our low rank games ruinning our games with 30 minute refresher etc..

Now with the DOta 2 overwatch and report system I feel the game is okay now. Though we do have a bit more throwers and griefers, but the majority just a "tilted" players etc… excusable due the mmr bracket. But one huge issue is still left….

THE REVERSE BOOST players. Anyways I know this is tinfoil hat, but seriously I think it's quite a possibility. Say keeps decent players from actually improving. Creating a disparity between say 5K vs. 13K mmr when actually there's not that much of a difference. Gatekeeping certain players and keeping certain players up or in "meta". Watching Jenkin's review on herald games where it's obivous this player is 4-7K mmr in a herald rank due to his hero pool/pick, it's just not right.

I sort of missed the old dota pool where 1000+ players are in a different pool than newbie players. I mean just watching some pro streamers again and some of these 7K-10K mmr players supports don't even know which spells function in bkb etc… I don't even???

Anyways those are my 2 cents feel free to commentate or rebuke etc… Also glad to see Grubby picking up dota. I remember when he would talk shit about Dota back when he was the best wc3 player. Now he's playing the game he hate lol. I mean his stint in sc2 was sorta a failure. It would been nice to see him during the heyday of Notail & Loda (HoN/dreamhack days). Since he was of their generation.
