Just for some context, yesterday I was teaching my friend customs and while we were in big red he died to a scav that sneaked in on him while he was fighting another scav. Then the fight ended and some guy comes up and VOIPs saying he is here for Prapor's quest and that he does not want any trouble. I'm like sure dude, pop your knife out and we can chill out. So he walks with his knife out and strikes some conversation. After he goes up the stairwell, I go to my friend on the first floor to drop his stuff somewhere for insurance and the guy comes down to talk again… This should have alerted me something was going on. While we were voiping, he asked for food because his pmc was about to run out, and as I go into my backpack he head eyes me. Good stuff from him, i guess some people really need every help they can get to get that kill.
After that I made up my mind to never trust a pmc ever again. Today, I ran into a duo on new gas and killed them, but was heavily injured in customs. I went to a bush to heal and it took minutes to perform surgery. Eventually someone walks in from behind (probably heard me healing), and said "Hey man, I heard some big shots, I just want to extract and be on my way. We good?" and I just said "Yeah man, i just finished a fight and I'm ready to leave", and he walks out and I just pulled my gun out and beamed him, he managed to VOIP "Please don't man" as my bullets 0 out his "Giselle" armor and kill him.
This man trusted me the same way I trusted that guy and I realized that the interaction from both sides sucks. I don't want to get played like that, and doing the same shit to people feels so cheap. Please share your worst broken trust stories on Tarkov using the VOIP system if you feel like it. If you enjoy tricking other people in order to kill them, feel free to share that also.
