It’s my second wipe, I’m only level 24. Please don’t tell me to git gud or anything like that, I know that we are late into the wipe. Please don’t take this as me complaining.
I’ve reached a point in the game where I’ve fallen behind other players pretty drastically, and there is a lot of stuff locked behind traders that I want to have fun with, but I can’t because it is just limited to people who can put up with the grind. I am not the kinda guy who has a bunch of time to play everyday, and I also enjoy other games besides tarkov.
Most of the tasks that I would consider “fun” for me are over with, and for now I only have tasks that force me to go to maps that I do not like and do not know (snoreline, lighthouse, streets).
I want to have fun with pvp in this game, but I also feel that I will not get any better doing the same thing over and over. I really want to progress and get better gear, but I just can’t be bothered to put up with the grind because I know that when I finally unlock things that other players have had for months, it will all be wiped.
So how can I get over this dread of learning new maps and doing boring tasks there? I don’t play this game to be super competitive or anything like that, I am just a filthy casual who plays for fun. The time sink is so much.
