27 y/o gamer who never got used to the idea of leaning in shooters, used to be a console-playing CoD monkey, so I'm unfamiliar with advanced fps'ery. I have played Tarkov for about 6 wipes and still can't get better at the gunfighting because the fighting is so spaced out between matches, shift-w gameplay, etc. I have always heard the best way to get better is to just run factory until you're a pvp pro, but does anyone have recommendations for ways to train general mouse+keyboard fps skill? I have CS:GO, Aimlab, Hunt: Showdown, but what training method gives the most value for my time spent? Are any of these helpful at all? Is coaching the answer?
EDIT: extra deets so you don't waste energy typing something unneeded:
I have decent knowledge of maps/spawns, which I know is always a growing skill.
I have a decent grasp on AI behaviors (I kill scavs consistently, don't die to shotgun scavs, etc.) But bosses and players are very likely to kill me. 25% survival rate even though I'm mostly avoidant of combat. That and advanced tactics are where I need help.
EDITEDIT: A video of me playing so you can diagnose any glaring issues with my play (not the novice editting plz)
