Hey everyone!

My name is Simon, and I'm one of the team members at LokrRoom. We're a small crew that believes in making communication and access easier for young esports athletes who are breaking into the big leagues.

Why we built LokrRoom

We are major esports and traditional sports fans. I'd say most of our team is obsessed with games like Apex, League of Legends, and CS:GO, but we've got love for Dota 2 and Valorant, too. Some of us have competed in average-level esports, and we know how it is for young gamers trying to make it.

Professional esports is a strictly hierarchical world with a predetermined path for most players that often starts at the average level. We launched LokrRoom to level the playing field by allowing esports athletes to build their brand on their own and earn some sponsorship cash in the process.

Granted, the esports pipeline is different for every game, but there is always a lot of gatekeeping involved. It ranges from drafts and tryouts to more personal cases, like if a scout shows up and it's not your best day.

Sponsorships are no different. Even regional events are a great opportunity for local brands to boost their presence, but the system is overcomplicated. There simply isn't a platform to connect businesses with esports athletes, especially if you're not ready to pay the middlemen for something that should be free: connection.

LokrRoom is a one-stop solution for those issues, designed to benefit all parties involved.

What can eSports athletes do on LokrRoom?

Esports athletes can build their personal pages where they list the games they compete in. We have lots of options to show off your latest achievements and victories: on top of posting pictures and videos, you can create a highlight reel of your best moments and feature it on your page.

You can connect with your friends to stay in touch and follow sponsors to get informed on their athlete searches and other updates.

Whenever a sponsor lists an endorsement opportunity, you can apply with no limitations: so all that work you put into your profile page will pay off!

How can sponsors use LokrRoom?

Just like esports athletes, sponsors set up their pages to promote their brand and help athletes relate to it.

The primary mechanic for sponsors is endorsements. A brand can set up an endorsement, listing athlete requirements, compensation, and other details. The endorsement is then posted on LokrRoom and becomes available for all athletes that fit the criteria preselected by the sponsor.

Eligible athletes can review the endorsement and decide if they want to apply for it. The sponsor can see every athlete that put their name in, check their profiles, and decide who gets the endorsement.
