Biggest regret?

I joined stw way back and have since completed story. I didn’t understand anything when I began. The skill tree and transform was a thing.

I had no idea how the mission system worked and ended up playing RTS missions on repeat to gather nuts and bolts after completion because I knew I needed that for bullets. I usually pressed the «play now» on mission select whenever I wanted to progress, but got sent somewhere that didn’t have what I needed.

I transformed a bunch of stuff that was probably very good for my level. I have since collected and regained all of it but I don’t have any old perked schems. I was playing blindly.

What I regret most is all the things I transformed and how much time I wasted on repeat missions with bad mission rewards. There is probably a lot of commanders out there with similar experiences but what is your biggest regret/mistake that you would do differently now that you know the way?
