Fuck right off with this shit.
Yes, 5 and 4 are typically the first to draft. Yes you draft blindly. That does not excuse picking a shit hero.
When you're first picking supps your job is making the draft as open-ended as possible. This typically means picking heroes with an instant (point-n-click) stun and one with a follow-up, never pick an entire lineup of just follow-up CC, you need point-n-click.
Good examples are – Jakiro, Ogre, Shadow Shaman, Lion (not pos 5, Lion pos 5 is grief you can't do shit for your carry and your pos 1 will be tilted the moment you pick it)
So let's take the opposite – Your supps pick Bounty Hunter and Pudge.
In picking these two heroes you have put yourself in an awful position for the entire game. Both are backline follow-up heroes, or pick-off, your offlaner will need to pick a ranged hero to not get run over because his pos 4 doesn't exist in lane, and then it falls on your pos 1 & 2 to somehow fill the carry function, while picking a winning lane, and cover initiation. This is a loss in draft moment if the enemy team drafts even remotely competent.
So please, just think about what hero you're playing and its effects on team synergy and roles.
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
