Died so far from home

So last night I decided it was time to find a swamp. I’m on day 87 and have beat the first two bosses so I figured it was time to start searching for the next biome. The three islands I have explored have been just meadows and black forest so I built a boat and started to sail. I built a portal at my base and brought materials to build another once I found a swamp. A few hours of sailing, I finally found it. The scary swamp. I beach the boat in the surrounding black forest and build a work bench. Then all of a sudden two green blobs come crawling towards me. I haven’t died in a while so I felt confident I could kill these cute little shell-less slugs. Then they started to jump. And then I knew I was not ready. I killed the first one but took a lot of poison damage. The second one sprays me once more as I try to run to safety and my life was over. Just like that. So far from home. Just before I was able to build my portal.

I immediately logged out and I’m not sure when I’m gonna try to go back and claim my ghost. What a sad day in Valheim.
