This is my first wipe and I've only been playing for around two months now. About two weeks ago I came across the dorms marked room key, it was golden/brass colored and I knew it was special so I high tailed it out of the raid. I debated on keeping it or trading it for something on the flea but my friend convinced me to keep it after showing me lots of videos of people pulling some pretty amazing loot. Various types of cases and really good guns were what I was seeing. Alright fine, I kept the key and we grouped up with some others for some dorm runs. I've opened the room 7/10 times so far and all I've found is loot that's extremely sub par. Four of the 7 times I've found some average AK's and a few average silenced pistols. The other three times I got some decent guns but nothing that was all that spectacular. Overall I estimate that the 7 opens have gotten me about 500-700k in loot. That's far far less than I was expecting when I first started these runs.
Then today I came across a video talking about how the marked rooms were nerfed some time ago and so I probably should have just traded the key for something. For such a rare key, the loot there is pretty trash, I shouldn't open the door and find a single pistol on the ground. I understand it's RNG but good lord it should have a decent loot pool at least.
