Since the days of arcades, the gaming industry has gone a long way. I remember playing Super Mario then a few years later GTA, which I believed at the time was the pinnacle of video gaming with those visuals haha. I couldn't have imagined all of these things we have now! In terms of improving the gaming experience, the gaming industry is experiencing development.
It has come a long way in the previous several decades. Indeed, the global gaming sector, which was worth USD 173.70 billion in 2020, is anticipated to be worth USD 314.40 billion by 2026, with a 9.64 percent CAGR between 2021 and 2026. Well, that is some serious difference if you ask me.
Most of the credit goes to the advancement in technology. The emergence of VR, AI, and AR along with their integrations with gaming consoles like Xbox and PS5 has revolutionized the gaming experience into something completely unimaginable.
Blockchain and crypto are already shaping the gaming sector with innovations and utilities while also massively benefiting gamers and gaming companies. A new wave of disruption is emerging. With games such as K4 rally which is the first rally blockchain game we changed the gaming when it comes to racing/motorsport games, things improved a lot, it's not about NFS or similar games when we now have these types of games where you can even have direct contact with real rally racers and that's something that people are looking forward to I would say.
