Howdy. I have about about 1300 hours in the game, but I haven't played since Odyssey was released and I still have not purchased it. My other games have settled down some so I was thinking about getting back into E:D. I see two major expeditions are starting soonish and was considering doing that. Specifically, the "Passage to Andromeda" and "Andromeda Adieu" on EDSM.
I have been about 10k LY into the black previously. But obviously that is minor league compared to what these expeditions are planning. And I'm wondering if despite the time I have in the game if there are some things I need to know, but don't simply because I have never travelled that far.
Here is the ship I was considering taking:
It would seem to have the range I need, but as I indicated this is kind of new territory for me. Will that get the job done? Will I hate myself for not buckling down and doing the Guardian quests so I can get the upgrades and taking a larger ship — like a "Jump 'conda"?
