Game quality of dota 2 is the worst its ever been

I've been playing dota since wc3 and high school days, and dota 2 since launch.

i am 7k mmr and this game is just the worst its ever been. NA east is essentially unplayable. I get 1 good game out of 10. Every game someone tilts its fucking exhausting. playing support is horrendous due to the comeback mechanics they introduced — every single game, no matter how much you dominate, you have a 25% chance someone on your team flames and throws and you watch hopelessly as the game you were steadily dominating in for the first 25 minutes comes to a slow grind of doom.

I stopped for a month and a half, thinking maybe it was just me playing too much dota, and played around 10 games over the past 5 days — and 2 of them are hard griefed, 6 of them are soft griefed, and every single one is endless flaming and racist shit being throw around about nuking peru or fuck americans yadda yadda yadda. this is 10k behavior score dota 2 at 7k mmr. this is the peak. getting pro players in your games is even worse. I wasted an hour of my time tonight because my pos 3 had to buy a sentry in lane and didnt want to and then the pos 4 followed him around for the rest of the game. everyone in the game, we all collectively wasted 10 hours of time because someone didn't want to spend 50 gold on a sentry.

I don't know why, but theres like a confluence of factors making this game unbearable — the comeback mechanics mean games are constantly thrown out of your hands, or you have to play a losing game for 45 minutes on the off chance the enemy throws. the playerbase seems to be nothing left but rotting corpses that have played 8000 games of dota in the past 3 years but still wish death on my mother for their 4001th loss.

my friendlist is a graveyard empty of people playing, i used to make friends all the time on dota 2, i have over 200 people on my friends list that i made over the years, and only like 4 of them still play. I can't remember the last time someone wanted to party up — don't you guys remember people wanting to party up???

dota 2 is such a good game its almost worth spending hours every day of garbage soft griefers, putting up with endless flaming, for the single good game of dota 2… but i don't think it is anymore. maybe 7.33 will magically clean up the community and make the game fun and interesting again, but its hard to see myself spending 3 hours during a night off just for some psychopath who q'd up the play a videogame follow around some other psychopath and ruin the game for 3 other people.
