I have quite an old PC with R9 280x and had to reinstall video drivers recently. I've installed the latest version from AMD site, but I could barely get 50 fps with PostFX on customs, in offline mode, without bots, but with screen tearing and stutters every other minute. I remember it wasn't that bad ( I play on lowest settings). I decided to install an older version, and discovered that there is also a 3-rd party driver called NimeZ, presumably helpful for older cards.
So I installed it and WOW. I haven't even rebooted, but the same place on customs was now +32 fps! Before, I could get 100fps on factory only looking into a wall, now it's 85-90 everywhere and 120+ on tunnels. It feels so much better even on 60Hz monitor! I'm very pleased.
