Who is some what new and enjoying this new patch. I have only been playing for about a month (Bought standard version at the beginning of February then upgraded to EOD during the recent sale.) I'm only level 23 and a sub-par, mostly solo player. I dont do well in high stress situations. I play mostly shooters on console so my M&K skills are borderline awful.
I'm a total Chad in other shooters, I hear gunfire I run towards it. In EFT gunfire is usually a, I'm not going that way indicator. The rat playstyle is rough for me cause I wanna shoot boys but my lack of knowledge and poor gun skill prevent me from being the Chad I know I am.
My EFT life has been hit or miss. Some days I have a good time and other days I hate it cause I get super unlucky. I was not able to play 12.4 until after a few hot fixes came through. I'm lucky and dont get motion sickness so while I still turn headbob down, I turn it off cause I see it as an inconvenience.
I got into EFT because of the simulated realism it offered. I may be terrible at the game but I enjoy it a lot. I think the double stamina is a great idea. The weight system imo is a little overtuned even after the hot fix but BSG appears to be listening to constructive feedback. I shouldnt be able to carry 10 backpacks inside each other filled with loot and sprint full speed. In my opinion and from my experiences so far it's a more methodical game now and it entices me more. Dont get me wrong, there is a point where too much realism will take away from the fun of the game. A lot of people on this subreddit seem to think we are there and rather than be constructive and level headed, they are just making asshats out of themselves.
As stated I'm by no means a veteran player so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I have no idea what veteran players have experienced but I'm pretty sure this is not the worst thing they've had to deal with. I still look forward to see where EFT goes.
