I was lied to! (mining)

hello folks,

so let me start with a disclaimer… I'm not a hardcore miner and I enjoy core mining as a break activity from massacre missions….with that out of the way, I was lead to believe that the best ship for mining was the cutter. due to its large cargo capacity and number of hard points….

after using this ship as a mining vessel I can comfortably say its not for me. the lack of lateral thrusting makes it very annoying to core mine (granted its best for laser mining). so in my attempt to try and find a better ship for my play style I decide to give the krait MKII a shot….. I LOVE this ship for mining! here is why

-she is nimble AF making flying through the rings an absolute delight

-has the perfect number of hard points that allow me to do all sorts of mining

-I can endlessly boost as I search for a nugget and rapidly stop when I find one

-the lateral thrust makes it an awesome core miner as I buzz around the nugget setting my charges

-the canopy view is fantastic

the way I have her built gives me enough cargo (128) for the patience I have for mining but perhaps some more cargo space wouldn't be bad…. anyway I'm telling you all this because I was wondering if anyone else on here uses this ship for mining and if we could "compare notes", maybe get a few build ideas to optimize mine (she has ZERO engineered stuff on her)
