I recently started playing Valheim and absolutely love it. I especially love the hunting mechanics and the feeling of being out in the woods. One thing that bothers me about RPGs in general, not just Valheim, is that most of the animals act like monsters and not like animals. In addition to wishing there were just more animals in the game so that the forests didn't feel quite so empty, I wish that necks and boar didn't immediately just charge you when you're nearby. Necks are the worst, and I don't really get why these suicidal little amphibians charge me after I've just killed a troll five yards away.
I hope in future updates that the devs include more animals so that the forests aren't populated by only deer, boar, seagulls, and necks. Rabbits, foxes, bears, squirrels, and elk would all make the game more immersive. Likewise, sharks, dolphins, seals, and whales would all make for great oceans creatures so that the waterways of Valheim aren't only serpents and fish.
