I am very excited for the recoil rework like everyone else is, but I wanted to provide some preemptive feedback. I think BSG needs to make sure that with the new recoil system, they balance automatic vs semi auto fire.
I personally think full auto shouldn’t be super accurate, but it shouldn’t feel like your gun is shooting at the sky. Additionally, semi auto should be very minimal in terms of recoil, same with burst. This would make full auto great for CQB and limited range fights, and semi auto for more accurate fire.
I hope this made sense, I just think we should remember why they changed recoil in the first place. The laser beam meta was also really unfun, and if you were around back then you can remember just getting absolutely hosed from insane distances. I just want a good balance, so that it feels good and snappy but not OP. Let me know what you think.
