Hello, talking about the legacy hotkeys bug for invoker here; That bug which sometimes gets you the wrong hotkey for an invoked spell;
Let's say, my 3-rd party script will just be tracking current queue state of Q-W-E spheres, then forcing a proper hotkey to use the spell i actually wanted;
The downside is obviously is a possible VAC ban, since in order to properly track spheres and invoked spell's hotkeys i will need to have direct memory access, which is basically accessible by injecting a DLL into the game process, which is literally a hack;
But if devs do not keep legacy features, who else will?
Therefore, i request the permission to make such script
I have no idea how to contact any Dota 2 developer, so let's start from here;
Maybe with time we will do all the job ourselves, just like Bethesda's fanbase which fixes everything for the devs;
This is not complaint, just to be clear, i worked in game dev myself and know that legacy features and its bugfixes are not always having the highest priority; So this post is just an attempt to reach out developers and check out what i can do instead of them for the legacy players;
