Looking for some vr tips/recommendations.

Played Elite a decent amount a while back but didn't really main it as I have been recently. Been going hard at Elite for the past couple of days, hit the whole engi mat grind and filled up and finally got all the important engis up and gettin ships feelin real good.
But this game is finally the one that makes me want to get vr. For the sake of specs got lucky enough to get a 3090ti and 12900ks last black Friday so looking to get a good vr set this black Friday if possible and really looking for good recommendations. Specifically for Elite, obv, but if it's just a good quality one I can use for other things in general that'd be really nice too. Don't know the rough ballpark for them but ideally less than 1000, even more ideally much less than that with black Friday deals. I know alot of people also run joysticks for flight I think? I am more than fine with and kinda prefer still running mnk if that's an option with vr but if there are any good cheap flight joysticks than maybe, don't know how the setup with those work. Also I do kinda like odyssey stuff even tho it's kinda a concensus alot of people don't and I do only play on odyssey unless I have to switch to Horizons to fix something or somethin. But would very much appreciate good recommendations, and if anyone has had or had the chance to use multiple vr sets and has been able to compare them even better! Tyvm!
