note: my PC is far from high-end. My friend built it for me mostly for emulating N64 and other older game consoles.
I do a lot of exobio in the game, and my experience before the latest update has consisted of a lot of adjusting my graphics settings to lower quality and/or resolution once I have landed on a planet. HOWEVER To my great surprise and satisfaction, upon starting up again after taking a short break I am getting much steadier framerates and overall seemingly better performance as I traverse planet surfaces! I ma now able to leave my settings on medium or high without much of a noticeable fps drop. I'm not one who's particularly sensitive to framerates as long as things are steady enough and I'm real happy with the improvement. I know the general atmosphere around Odyssey has been filled with disappointment and understandably so. Certainly don't want to rub it in for console players. Just thought I would share something positive, even if it's only on my end. o7 CMDRs.
