Misery isn’t gameplay

I really try to like the game. I've put enough time into it to say that I like it. But I really don't, and here is why.

You can never just do something.

Can't sail cuz wind is always backwards no matter which direction I am trying to go

Can't build cuz constantly being raided or its just raining

Can't even fight, enemies just sort of meander in circles wasting your stamina, and heaven forbid they are standing on a molehill then your attacks just hit dirt

Actually get an hour of uninterrupted building? Single neck never despawned attacked your boat for 45 minutes and destroyed it all materials disappeared go to hell

Actually work for a hundred hours toward an epic bossfight? You spent iron on the wrong weapon so Bonemass is invincible! Better luck next iron mace you FUCKING IMBECILE! HOW COULD YOU SPEND YOUR IRON ON THE WRONG WEAPON WHEN YOU JUST UNLOCKED ALL THE WEAPON VARIETY IN THE GAME? OR HOW ABOUT THIS ONE!Moder just gets stuck on a rock after every flight phase despite laying out a FOOTBALL FIELD to fight her on. Just have to use 2000 arrows instead of enjoying life.

And then of course after every single kill you have to throw away a resin stone wood eye dandelion trophy seed fragment skin and a toe nail clipping after every fucking greydwarf kill im just going to implode.

Tonally, it's just frustrating. It's neither an interesting combat experience or a carefree sandbox builder, missing tons of obvious things like "rotating items on an axis to create the most iconic crossed axes decoration that immediately every single human thinks of" or "why do I have to build the roof first you jack ass?"

"git gud" is definitely the most comical response these issues. Think I can't press right click? rofl. Yeah that's my problem guys, you fixed it…
