Hello, i am playing this lovely game for over 8 years and quite enjoying it, but… the new patch has killed the passion for all of us, and we need to talk about this…
Please, take a look at this chart; I was observing my MMR for a month before patch on purpose:
Valve temporarily removed the hard limit of 1400 mmr that a player can get without donating to the game. I was happy, i thought it will stay forever, but it was all only to bring more players, more attention, more money (…) to the new patch;
Once the new patch came online – they brought the mmr limit back again, making it impossible to win until you buy dota plus… With time it will get worse and every game will be paid like this, we should fight it together…
For those who do not believe, there is my hero distribution chart as well:
I played variety of heroes with different build and roles – it all does not help.
After they enabled it back again – i could not win any single game – always bad teammates that look like they are focused on losing the game.
Does not matter what i do – it always ends the same after the patch day.
