Odyssey’s biggest lie

The intro mission telling us you can get Power Regulators from SRVs.

I have never found a working power regulator in an SRV, and only extremely rarely in non-crashed ships at distress signals.

If you want a power regulator, you have to either shut down a base or lie to power-on mission givers about your intentions.

Edit: while this was indeed a half-whinge about RNG, it was also meant to be a bit tongue in cheek (given all the other more serious complaints people have about Odyssey… I thought the hyperbolic title would be a clue 😉).

Thanks for all the tips from everyone, although anyone who's done any Odyssey Engineering knows the real issue is data. I'm actually fine for power regulators, thanks though 👍🏻

However if anyone knows how to get settlement defence plans, please share
