Player scavs are just as vicious as PMC’s

I don’t know if I’m the only one, but this whole wipe, I’ve noticed that player scavs are just as ruthless and greedy as they were before Scav karma became a thing. In the last day, I conducted 4 scav runs. I was killed every time by a player scav. Completely unprovoked.

In my most recent one, I walked down to D-2 on reserve to check for any dead PMC’s or Raiders. (As you do) I walked by a player scav who said “What’s up” I responded, “Hey man, Anything good down there?” To which he responded with gunfire, killing me. I really don’t understand. Do players just not care about karma anymore or do I genuinely, verbally come off as a threat?

The raid before that, I was double teamed by scavs. I was shot by one, I killed him. I didn’t lose karma, as it was in defense, but then his partner scav shot me. It is insurmountably frustrating trying to just get a cheap load out and some unpicked loot, only to be killed by people doing the exact same thing as you. I may be just venting, but so what. Maybe I’m just unlucky. Has anyone else had this issue lately?
