I really dislike the idea that limpets ocupy a whole unit of cargo space AND affect the weight/jump range. With fleet carriers basically on every hot-spot of every mining system is more a nuisance than a gameplay element getting limpets… so I think its time for a rework.
What if limpets were treated as "ammunition" for the limpets controllers?
Each module of limpets controllers would have a X amount of limpets, so more controllers, more limpets. You would still need to refill them in stations/carriers/crafting if you use the limpets, but in the "resupply" button on the homepage.
I believe that it would be an amazing quality of life improvement and wouldn't affect negatively any aspects of the game that I can think of.
