So I haven't played Elite since probably late 2018 or early 2019. Since then I only really heard the big news (Odyssey and the subsequent fallout from that) Anyway, recently I bought a Quest 2 and remembered that ED has VR support so I dug out my old X52 and booted it up with VR. WOW… I don't think my mouth has dropped open so much in a 2 hour gaming session… So now I am completely hooked again. And that leads me to now. I don't have Odyssey, I have heard it is terrible on VR, but that was when it was launched. Is that still true? Should I just stick with Horizons/Beyond? Do all the old trade routes still apply? Are there updated tools and websites that weren't around in 2018 that I should know about? General tips and tricks I should know about as a new VR player?
