Honestly, some people in this game. I keep my cool as best I can, I don't care about silly deaths or getting stomped or people not pressing BKB in time. Just got my mic working again, I always try to get person A off person B's back, make suggestions of what we could do, something to get the team a common goal or at least make them feel less shit about mistakes. The games that start out bad are the worst.
Some guy picks Mirana offlane. Not reliable no, but we have Zeus mid for a Nimbus if there's ever a good arrow, we've Elder Titan to set up arrows and I'm Medusa, so if we need a little more time to take out the Tiny I can ult and buy it for us. But no, according to this pissbaby Jakiro the game's no longer worth trying for. Mirana dies once in lane to a haste rune gank from mid, and then Jakiro decides he wants to ditch her to go farm jungle.
Later he switches target when Mirana starts doing well. He decides to now rant about the Zeus. Zeus lost mid, the skill range was Legend 3-Divine 2 and he was our weakest player. "22-3 mid gj Zeus". Meanwhile there've been zero smoke purchases, the only dewards have been because of Zeus or Elder Titan. Jak's still walking around with a fucking Sobi Mask in his inventory for what?
I can't handle this game at all, I don't know how I did it when I was younger. 40 minutes locked in a room with a coin toss on whether they're humans or angry chimps, and I truly do hate them. Or I feel I do, I don't hate anyone I've met, but the spinelessness of these people over a game of all things.
Another one, we had a support Arc pos 4. We all agreed at the start it was weird, but it's unranked so none of us cared. We laughed and joked, and started the game. We got first blood with him, his lane went well, though most of his money seemed to be spent on mana regen. He got Meteor Hammer, landed it a few times, no one said a word. Then, one bad teamfight later, our mid jumped on mic "Oh fucking hell man why you have to ruin my game with support Arc Warden? Why did you think it would work?" What the fuck? You've said good job to this guy so many times during this match, well played, he's warded every spot you've asked him, and now that you're not doing well your prissy little ego can't handle the responsibility so you've gotta blame him?
The attitudes of these people are absolutely intolerable. It's not even aimed at me and I can't stand it. At this rank aswell, who the fuck thinks they're playing good Dota? Ancient might be above average but it's still an absolute joke compared to actually good matches. People looking for the needle in the haystack excuse to be able to blame someone else just because they can't handle the idea that they're not farming efficiently enough. And then, even though they have that excuse, they feel the need with their whiny ass voices to project it. I think Zeus already knows he didn't do as much as Void Spirit this game, mate. It's been 40 minutes of us getting stomped by Void, but yeah you go ahead and say it in all chat just so everyone's aware of the scoreboard and you can pretend that your impact in the game was enough.
