Swamp : fun anywhere ?

so-. after a looong time i restarted my journey into Valheim. and it was all good and fun.

then came the swamp. yes, I have iron. yes, I have stuff. food and everything. BUT the swamp is probably the most unfun time I had in a game in very very long time

It´s not becessarily the learning curve and diffictulty. I like a challenge. BUT if a game decides to constantly kick you in the teeth and tells you to enjoy it, …meh.

constant wet. constant cold. constant dark.
enemies out of nowhere with no clear pattern of spawn or movement.
an all this for stuff you have to be lucky to find (crypts) and CAN be great (I got 120+iron out of the first two crypts) or abysmal (15 out of the third).

the most stylish enemies are joke (firethingies) and Draugr elite spawn way too frequently.
iron / bronze armor slows you down way too much. troll armor gets you killed way too fast.

at this point the game changes from a survival & crafting and exploration game into a souls like death experience for me.

does it get better ?
