Teammate Etiquette

I play Tarkov in a smaller discord group where there is about 20-30 consistent players. Within this group I’ve noticed that some players have a strange way of playing the game with others. For example, accidental team killing can be common. And I don’t get bent out of shape at all about it. I think most guys I play with have an understanding that if you kill your buddy the least you can do is ditch his gear and maybe help him out next raid with some gear if he’s hurting for Rubes. But I’ve played with guys that will accidentally kill a teammate but then loot that teammates gear and extract with it. Or if they lose a teammate in a firefight they will strip attachments off their teammates gun and keep them. I’ve seen this ruin the morale sometimes where guys will just straight up leave the squad and the chat after it happens to them. When I or another player confront these guys about playing like this there responses are usually something like “oh cmon it’s only (item they’ve taken)” or “oh they can afford it only an SMG” but in my mind it’s F’d up cause it’s not different than killing random teammates from lobby and looting them. I was curious if anyone had similar story’s or wanted to share their thoughts on the subject. I’d like to get some other opinions on it.
