It's been around 10 months since I last played ED. Last time played I was making the explorers pilgrimage up to Beagle Point. I decided to fly there in my Asp Explorer the old fashioned way of just flying as the crow flies and just taking in the sites as I went along. I had made it to around the halfway point between Explorer's Anchorage and Beagle Point when I just… didn't load ED up again.
Almost a year later and I've loaded up the game, only to find I'm back at Explorer's Anchorage?
My Asp Explorers paintjob is at 65%, my money hasn't been touched, I'm pretty sure I didn't die… was there some kind of update that yanked me out of the void? The Universal Cartographer says I only have data for Sagittarius A* and STUEMEAE FG-Y D765 1 which is the system Explorer's Anchorage is in. I was D-scanning every system I passed through so I should have something to show for it.
I have a few choices:
- Either dust myself off and try for Beagle Point again, maybe not doing it the straight line method I was doing before because even with 60LY jump range its a bit of a slog.
- Go back to bubble.
- Just stop playing. Not gonna lie, feeling a bit dejected…
If anyone knows why or how I got ported back to the centre of the galaxy I'd appreciate the closure.
